The Winpisinger Center is a dedicated training and education center established in 1981 in Hollywood, Maryland. Named after former IAM International President William W. Winpisinger, its mission is to educate IAM members on union leadership, labor rights, collective bargaining, workplace safety, communications, organizing, and other skills to strengthen leadership and union effectiveness. It was founded so members could learn collaboratively away from workplace pressures and return to their locals prepared to lead.
